From the beginning of time on Earth, humans have been weaving. Weaving Baskets, Dreams, Rugs and more. This workshop was designed with the wisdom that is held within your body, that is held within the trees, that is held inside your hands. You will be a part of group journeys, exploring your own connection to Ponderosa Pine, learning how to weave, connecting with your multidimensionality and so much more. You will learn how to craft a Pine Needle Trivet in this 2 week journey, and will complete our time together with your own hand crafted trivet that you made! We will be completing this experience close to Sahmain (halloween), the half way point between Autum Equinox and Winter Solstice. It's a beautiful way to explore and prepare for the darker time of year. This is an in-person workshop taking place in Missoula Montana in the forest and at Three Bales Home Supply.  If you have questions, please Contact Me!  I would be happy to answer any questions you have about this journey.

Part of the magic of this workshop is the gathering and preparing of the pine needles. We will be going out into the forest together the first week to connect with Ponderosa Pine and gather our pine needles. You will then learn how to prepare your needles for weaving. In our second week together we will be weaving our trivets together in the beautiful space of Three Bales Home Supply Store.

Here is an example of the beginning of a journey that we could go on during our group experience:

You are walking along a forest path, you look down at your feet and they are barefoot.

You feel the cool moist earth upon the soles of your feet and you look up to see that you are wearing a flowing emerald green dress with billowing sleeves.

You look to the forest around you and you see the sun shining through the trees.

There is an owl that is white and grey and brown in a tree further off to the left and you see a stag with four points on each antler.

You hear whistling fluttering beautiful bird songs and you feel attracted to walking towards this one pine tree that seems to be glowing golden.

As you approach this tree you begin to smell sweet honey vanilla and as you place your hands on this glowing tree you feel the tree's warmth.

You notice how the bark of the tree looks almost like puzzle pieces.

One large puzzle piece door emerges from the trunk of the tree and you see a circular window on this puzzle piece doorway.

Within the circular window a spider web symbol emerges.

You have the intention of going through this beautiful puzzle piece doorway to connect with the energies of your basket.

You step through the puzzle piece doorway and you see a beautiful red velvet chair facing a fireplace.

You're in some kind of library because there are walls of books on either side of the fireplace and you settle yourself into this cozy red chair when suddenly a being brings you a warm sweet drink to sip on.

You first notice the hands of this being and their hands are like tree branches, they are brown and notched.

You follow their body from their hands giving you the cup, up their tree branch arms to their head and they look like part tree part human being smiling at you with their brown beautiful eyes…
