I’ve begun the journey of folding 1000 paper cranes—not as a race to finish, but as a practice in slowing down, being present, and welcoming change. Each crane invites me into patience, detail, and peace, reminding me to rest when I am tired and trust the rhythm of right timing. The first 100 now hang on birch, a tree of new beginnings.
